Rosemont Museum and Collectables
The museum is a celebration of machine sewing from its beginnings to the modern era, with sewing machines from the 1860s right through to the 1960s – a century of sewing machine development!
Since beginning their collection, owners Barry and Teresa have amassed over 400 machines from around the world, including popular brands, and many you may not have heard of before.
They have selected 200 machines to display in the museum, including children’s toy sewing machines, as well as other bric-a-brac and antiques available for purchase such as fine china cup and saucer sets, crystal and coloured glassware, and some choice kitchen gadgets that will keep you guessing.
Entry to the museum is free, visitors are encouraged to leave a comment in the visitor’s book and make a donation towards the upkeep if they have enjoyed the experience.
